Swisson XWL Wireless DMX TX and RX

The Swisson XWL series Wireless DMX transmitters and receivers are capable of transmitting DMX-512A using LumenRadio’s CRMX without the use of wires up to 500m with the correct installation and line of site conditions. The XWL transmitter can reliably transmit the DMX data wirelessly with a latency of around 5ms giving you quality DMX without the use of wires.

The XWL CRMX transmitters and receivers operate in the 2.4GHz frequency range and use GFSK modulation to ensure clear signals that use up the minimum required amount of spectrum. You can run a maximum of 4 to 6 CRMX transmitters in parallel in any one area (depending on spectrum requirements and other equipment.) This will allow you to transmit 4 to 6 separate DMX universes wirelessly in one area.

You can connect an unlimited number of Receivers to each CRMX transmitter, allowing you to quickly and effectively distribute your DMX universe data to multiple locations without the use of long DMX cables.

The XWL is housed in a rugged metal enclosure and has M10, M12 and 3/8” threads on the housing allowing for mounting to microphone stands and standard rigging hardware. There is also a slot in the case for a safety chain or tying down the unit.

The XWL comes with a 5dbi antenna which is external to the unit and uses a RP-TNC connector. The antenna is well clear of the metal housing allowing for clear transmission lines in all direction. Alternatively, you can choose to use an external antenna to increase range or signal quality.

The XWL is powered by a built in power supply which is connected to mains voltage with a PowerCon connector. Our XWL transmitters and receivers are supplied with a NEMA 5-15P to PowerCon cable assembly so you are ready to go when the product comes out of the box.

Although we stock the XWL series in 5-pin XLR CRMX configurations they are also available with 3-pin XLR and/or Wireless Solutions W-DMX protocol. Contact us if you are interested in these options.
