12Vdc NiMH Battery Packs
Our new 12Vdc NiMH battery packs are assembled and tested in the USA. They all have self resetting PolySwitch protective devices and are fitted with 5.5 x 2.1 male barrel connectors.

The end user should monitor minimum voltage levels and never let the batteries charge below 11Vdc volts as lower voltages can damage the battery back.
It is recommended to charge the battery after use using the NiMH / NiCAD Smart Charger. Charging should always be done with a smart charger that has an automatic power cut-off, as NiMH batteries can explode if overcharged.
Always maintain your batteries by ensuring they are charged once at least every 6 months. Failure to maintain charge will reduce the battery's overall capacity.
To determine how long a battery will run your LED equipment for, simply divide the capacity in Amp Hours by the number of Amps you load will contain. For example a 2.2Ah (2200mAh) battery will run 1 meter of VW120 12Vdc ribbon for approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes at full intensity (2.2Ah/1.6A = 1.375 hours.)
